Brian Scott - the first Polish black journalist

'In the kindergarden sometimes one points my younger son and says : - look Johny, you have in your class a black boy.- And Johny responds : - no mother, this is not a black boy, but my friend Michael- '

These are the words of Brian Scott, the first Polish black journalist, who started his career in RMF FM Krakow's local radio station, later moved to television, where cooperated with Polsat, TVN , and now TV Info stations.

The actor in Polish movies (("Czarodziej z Harlemu" 1988, "Lejdis" 2008, "Pan z drzewa" 2008) and soap operas ("Ekipa", "Rodzina zastępcza").
Originally Brian, was born July 3, 1960 in Guiana,as a teenager moved to Poland where obtained the journalism degree at Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
Now still stays in Krakow with the wife and two sons Marvell (b.1993) and Michael (b. 2001).
In his latest project 'Etniczne klimaty' ('Ethnic climates') produced for TV Info in which he makes interviews with Polish minorities showing the conditions of living and minority problems in present Poland.

In his last interview to a newspaper 'Gazeta Wyborcza' he talks about his life and the experience from the first days when he came to Poland, and decided to stay here for good.
